Mark your calendars, Game of Thrones Season 4's Blu-Ray release date is February 17th, 2015! The packaging seems pretty snazzy, although I hope Best Buy continues their sigil-artwork, hopefully by adding a Martell slipcase, which you know I'll be snatching up!
So far announced extras include a video featuring interviews with all the people who were killed last season (so it should be lengthy), an interview with Bryan Cogman (who wrote two of my favorite episodes from last season - Oathkeeper and The Laws of Gods and Men), and Deleted Scenes. How funny would it be if one of the deleted scenes was Lady Stoneheart? I'd gag.
Amazon's current pre-order price is $44.99 as of 7/16/2014, which is pretty good. Beware though that the price will probably drop to $29.99 on release day at Best Buy, but you'll also be covered by Amazon's pre-order price guarantee. Personally, I'm waiting to see what BB does with those sigil covers!
