Game of Thrones Receives 20 Emmy Nominations, Oberyn Gets Snubbed Again!

Don't fuck it up Emmy voters! You've already done it once so far this year!

It's that time again, the Emmy's have been announced and I'm a little bit disappointed that my future husband favorite guest star Pedro Pascal was not nominated, especially considering how memorable his role was this season when compared to Diana Rigg, who is nominated in the same category for Outstanding Guest Performance on the women's side. First he gets his face smashed in by The Mountain, now this? Gurl can't catch a break!

I don't want to be a complete Negative Nancy - Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage are both nominees for their respective gendered Outstanding Supporting Role awards. Lena Headey was tremendous this year, so I'm happy she's nominated, although I'll be shocked if any actress beats out Anna Gunn's performance in Ozymandias Breaking Bad. I'm rooting for Dinklage to take the Emmy, and I think he stands a great chance at it!! Lets be real Emmy voters, no Supporting Actors gave a dramatic performance quite like Peter in the trial scene, and in his doomed dungeon interactions - especially the one he has with Mr. Pascal where they both manage to quietly break our hearts!

You can find a complete list of all the Emmy noms here.
